Stand Together Art: Fundraiser for NO TANKERS
The final showing of the Stand Together: Art for the Love of BC canvasses! The Fundraiser Finale & Grand Opening Party is on Wednesday November 28th, from 7-9pm at Discovery Coffee in Oak Bay, Victoria BC. This is a fundraiser for the Dogwood Initiative's NO TANKERS Campaign! The Stand Together: Art for the Love of BC project started as a way to unite and inspire others to Stand Together against the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline and to create awareness of what's at risk if this pipeline goes through! Sachika Music Video– blowing up on YouTube!
A few months ago I was lucky to collaborate in an amazing project with musician Sachika, in the creation of her music video "Not Gunna Play." Five of my original canvasses were featured in the video, and I got to paint on 8 dancers from the Canadian College of Performing Arts, as well as singer/songwriter Sachika, and model/actor Eric Mazimaka. This last week I noticed that the video is getting about 1000 views a day on YouTube! Amazing! I would love to know where it's being seen! Check it out below!

These are all elements that create bold backdrops for the luxury cars at Victoria Premium Automobiles. When first planning for this project, I did some research to find out what kind of art dealerships around Victoria were showcasing.
