The art has come down from the coffee shop and is now brightening up the walls of a new cute boutique hair salon on upper Fort St. called Tangerine!
The salon is run by the lovely Jennifer Sealey– a saucy red-head with bright eyes and a big smile! The salon is in stylish character house next to a beautiful lingerie store. The walls are painted lavender and tangerine orange, and Jen has found these amazing retro sinks with orange washing chairs attached. The place is friendly, vibrant, and perfect for large, brightly coloured art!
12 of Kristin’s paintings are on display (and for sale!) at the salon… a variety of styles from large airbrushed works to small hand-drawn designs.
This month Kristin will design and complete a mural for the salon wall, featuring a flirty pin-up portrait of Jen, the salon’s owner, picking a tangerine off of a tree branch :)
Stay tuned for pictures of the mural, along with shots of the art inside the salon. There will be a Grand Opening Party at the end of April :)
